Domestic Tour Packages from Delhi airport

Domestic Tour Packages from Delhi

Eight ready itineraries. Every price published. Private vehicle, driver and pickup from Delhi airport.

Every one of our domestic tour packages from Delhi starts where your flight lands. You walk out of Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 at Indira Gandhi International Airport, your driver is standing there with a name board, and the trip begins from that moment. No metro connections with luggage, no bargaining at a prepaid taxi counter, no waiting for a group coach to fill up before it leaves.

A large share of our enquiries come from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi and Coimbatore, and that changes how we plan the first day. A Chennai flight landing at 11 in the morning can comfortably reach Vrindavan the same evening. A flight landing at 6 in the evening should not be pushed towards Manali the same night, and we will say so instead of selling you a bad first day. The itinerary is built around your actual flight timing, not around a fixed departure schedule that suits us.

Trips run from two days to six days and start at Rs 5,900 per guest. Every package on this page carries a published starting price, which is rarer in this industry than it should be. Every trip is private, so the vehicle carries your family or your group and nobody else.

Smart Comparison

Which Domestic Tour Package from Delhi Is Right for You

Work backwards from three things: how many days you actually have on the ground, who is travelling with you, and how much driving your group can tolerate in a day. A three day window suits Agra, Amritsar, Jaipur, Rishikesh or Nainital. Six days is the honest minimum for Shimla and Manali, because the run up to Manali is a long day behind the wheel and compressing it into four days means you spend the holiday in the car rather than in the mountains.

This table compares all eight packages on the same terms, including cost per day, which is the number most travellers should be looking at and almost nobody publishes.

Package Duration Starts From Cost Per Day Distance From Delhi Best Suited For
Vrindavan and Mathura Tour 2D / 1N Rs 5,900 Rs 2,950 About 150 km Krishna devotees, travel with elderly parents
Agra Tour 2D / 1N Rs 6,500 Rs 3,250 About 233 km First visit to North India, Taj Mahal at sunrise
Amritsar Golden Temple Tour Best Value 3D / 2N Rs 6,999 Rs 2,333 About 450 km Golden Temple, Wagah Border, best value per day
Rishikesh Adventure Tour 3D / 2N Rs 7,900 Rs 2,633 About 240 km Rafting, yoga, corporate and college groups
Ayodhya Ram Mandir Tour 2D / 1N Rs 8,900 Rs 4,450 About 690 km Ram Mandir darshan, Saryu Aarti
Nainital Tour Package 3D / 2N Rs 11,500 Rs 3,833 About 300 km Lakes, cool weather, couples and families
Jaipur Pink City Tour 3D / 2N Rs 13,500 Rs 4,500 About 270 km Forts, palaces, shopping, photography
Shimla and Manali Tour 6D / 5N Rs 18,900 Rs 3,150 About 350 km to Shimla Snow, honeymoon, long family holiday

* Prices are per guest starting rates for standard category hotels on twin sharing. Cost per day is calculated from the starting price divided by trip duration. Final cost depends on group size, hotel category and travel month.

The cheapest package is not always the cheapest trip

Look at the cost per day column again. Vrindavan has the lowest headline price at Rs 5,900, but at two days that works out to Rs 2,950 a day. Amritsar costs more in total at Rs 6,999, yet it runs for three days, which brings it down to Rs 2,333 a day and makes it the best value package we sell. Rishikesh sits second at Rs 2,633 a day.

This matters if you are flying in from Bangalore, Hyderabad or Chennai, because your flight cost is fixed no matter how long you stay. Spending Rs 1,099 more to turn a two day trip into a three day one is almost always the better decision once you have already paid for the airfare. We would rather tell you that than sell you the cheapest line item.

Comprehensive Itinerary Overview

Detailed Guide: All 8 Domestic Tour Packages from Delhi

Each package below is a live itinerary we operate through the year. Click any package title for the full day-by-day plan, inclusions and hotel options.

Amritsar Golden Temple Tour, 3 Days and 2 Nights, from Rs 6,999

At Rs 2,333 a day this is the best value trip on our list. Amritsar sits about 450 kilometres from Delhi and covers Golden Temple darshan, the Jallianwala Bagh memorial, Durgiana Temple and the Wagah Border retreat ceremony. Reach Wagah well before the gates close, because seating is unreserved and fills quickly. One detail that reassures a lot of our South Indian guests on a first North India trip is the langar at the Golden Temple, which is free, entirely vegetarian and served around the clock.

Vrindavan and Mathura Tour, 2 Days and 1 Night, from Rs 5,900

The gentlest introduction to North India and the one we recommend most when grandparents are travelling. Vrindavan sits about 150 kilometres from Delhi, roughly three hours by road, so nobody is exhausted before the first temple. Covers Banke Bihari Temple, Prem Mandir, ISKCON Vrindavan and the Krishna Janmabhoomi complex in Mathura. Timing matters more here than at any other destination, because Banke Bihari keeps split darshan hours and the queue behaves very differently on Ekadashi and during Janmashtami. We plan the driving around the darshan windows, not the other way round.

Agra Tour, 2 Days and 1 Night, from Rs 6,500

If this is your first trip to North India, start here. The Yamuna Expressway makes Agra a three and a half hour drive across 233 kilometres of genuinely good road. The overnight version lets you see the Taj Mahal at sunrise, which is the only time of day worth photographing it and the only time the crowd is manageable. Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh fill the rest, and Fatehpur Sikri can be added on the return leg. The Taj is closed to tourists on Fridays, so we build the itinerary around that.

Rishikesh Adventure Tour, 3 Days and 2 Nights, from Rs 7,900

Around 240 kilometres from Delhi, five to six hours depending on how Haridwar traffic behaves. This is our most requested package for corporate teams, college groups and families with teenagers. White water rafting on the Ganga runs from roughly late September to the end of June and stops during the monsoon, so a July or August visit becomes a temple and yoga trip instead. Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula and the Beatles Ashram fill the rest. Haridwar sits on the same route and is usually added without extra driving.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir Tour, 2 Days and 1 Night, from Rs 8,900

Ayodhya is close to 690 kilometres from Delhi, which is a genuinely long road day. For guests flying in from the south we usually suggest an overnight train or a connecting flight for this leg and keep the private vehicle for local movement in Ayodhya. Covers Ram Janmabhoomi darshan, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan and the evening Saryu Aarti. Darshan slots and security rules at the Ram Mandir change often, so we confirm current entry procedure with you before departure rather than promising a fixed schedule.

Nainital Tour Package, 3 Days and 2 Nights, from Rs 11,500

About 300 kilometres and a seven hour drive that turns into hill road for the last stretch. Nainital suits guests from Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai who want cool weather without committing to six days in Himachal. Naini Lake boating, Naina Devi Temple, Snow View Point, Tiffin Top and a day out to Bhimtal, Sattal and Naukuchiatal. Between mid December and February you may catch snowfall at the higher points, though it is never guaranteed and we will not pretend otherwise.

Jaipur Pink City Tour, 3 Days and 2 Nights, from Rs 13,500

Roughly 270 kilometres down NH48, about five hours. Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Jal Mahal, with an evening at Chokhi Dhani if your group wants the folk performance and thali dinner. Jaipur pairs naturally with Agra, and a good number of our guests take both together as a five or six day circuit rather than as two separate trips. April to June in Jaipur crosses 40 degrees regularly, so sightseeing gets moved to early morning in summer.

Shimla and Manali Tour, 6 Days and 5 Nights, from Rs 18,900

Our longest package and the one South Indian families ask about most, usually because they want to see snow. Shimla is around 350 kilometres from Delhi and Manali is a further long stretch beyond it. Six days is the honest minimum. Covers Mall Road and Kufri in Shimla, then Solang Valley, Hadimba Temple, Vashisht and Manali town, with Atal Tunnel and Rohtang Pass depending on season and permits. Rohtang typically opens around May and closes with the first heavy snow. Permits are quota limited and issued separately, which we arrange for you.

Smart Planning Framework

Our Three Hour Rule for the First Day

This is the planning rule we apply to every itinerary that begins with an incoming flight, and it exists because we have watched first days go wrong.

Count the hours between your landing time and sunset. Subtract one hour for baggage, washroom and getting out of the terminal. Whatever remains is your realistic driving window, and it should never be filled completely. If three hours or more are left, you can move to Vrindavan, Agra or Jaipur the same day. If less than three hours remain, stay the night near the airport and start fresh in the morning.

The temptation is to squeeze in the drive because a hotel night feels like wasted money. It is not. Arriving at a hill station at midnight with tired children costs you the whole of day two, and hill roads after dark are the one thing we genuinely refuse to do. One extra night near the airport is cheaper than losing a day of a trip you flew across the country for.

Family Tour Packages from Delhi

Family travel breaks on logistics, not on sightseeing. The failures are always the same. A long airport transfer with tired children. A hotel that turns out to have four floors and no lift when your father has a knee problem. A day plan that quietly assumes everyone can walk five kilometres over uneven stone.

For families we change three things. We shorten the first day so that a flight from Bangalore or Chennai is followed by rest rather than a four hour drive. We confirm lift access at the hotel when elderly parents are travelling. And the vehicle stays with you all day rather than dropping you at a monument and disappearing, so anyone who wants to sit out a stop can wait comfortably in an air conditioned car instead of standing in the sun.

Our strongest family tour packages from Delhi are Vrindavan and Mathura at Rs 5,900 per guest, Agra at Rs 6,500 and Nainital at Rs 11,500. All three keep daily driving under about four hours. For a longer family holiday with children, Shimla and Manali spreads the distance sensibly across six days.

Group Tour Packages from Delhi

We own and operate our own fleet rather than subcontracting to whoever is available that week, which is what makes group travel work. Groups move in a tempo traveller in 9, 12, 16, 20 or 26 seater configuration, or a Force Urbania for corporate travel and smaller premium groups. One vehicle, one driver, one point of contact, and nobody gets left behind at a highway stop.

Group tour packages from Delhi work particularly well for extended family pilgrimages, temple committees travelling together from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala, college groups and corporate offsites. Per guest cost falls noticeably as the group grows, because the vehicle cost is shared across more people. A family of four and a group of sixteen do not pay anything close to the same rate per head, so give us your real headcount when you ask for a quote rather than a rough guess.

Rishikesh, Amritsar and Shimla and Manali are our most requested group itineraries. If you need the vehicle without hotels, see our tempo traveller hire and car rental pages.

Budget Tour Packages from Delhi

Budget should mean paying less, not being handed a worse trip. We keep costs down by choosing destinations with shorter driving distances, using standard category hotels rather than luxury properties, and travelling in shoulder season when hill station rates drop sharply.

Our most affordable packages are Vrindavan and Mathura at Rs 5,900 per guest, Agra at Rs 6,500, and Amritsar at Rs 6,999. If you judge by cost per day rather than headline price, Amritsar at Rs 2,333 and Rishikesh at Rs 2,633 are the two best value trips we operate. Both run three days, which is usually the right length for someone who has already paid for a flight from South India.

What we will not do is quote an artificially low number and then add fuel, driver allowance, parking and toll at the end. Every charge appears in the written quotation before you pay anything.

India Tour Packages from Delhi for Travellers from South India

A large share of our bookings come from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kochi, Mysore, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Madurai, Tirupati and Trivandrum. That has taught us things a Delhi operator serving only local customers would never need to learn.

Plan the first day around the flight, not the itinerary

Direct flights from Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai to Delhi run roughly two and a quarter to three hours, and from Kochi or Trivandrum closer to three and a half. A morning departure lands you in Delhi with most of the day intact, which is enough to reach Agra, Vrindavan or Jaipur that evening. An afternoon or evening arrival is not. Apply the three hour rule above and decide honestly.

The cold is a bigger adjustment than the number suggests

If you live in Chennai or Kochi, a Delhi December at four or five degrees will feel far colder than four or five degrees sounds, and Manali in January drops below freezing. Do not buy heavy woollens in the south, where the range is limited and the prices are high because nobody needs them. Buy them in Delhi or on Mall Road in Shimla, where they cost less and the choice is far better. We can build a shopping stop into your first evening for exactly this reason.

Food is manageable, but tell us in advance

Pure vegetarian and Jain food is available across all our destinations. South Indian food specifically is easy to find in Delhi and reasonable in Agra, Jaipur and Rishikesh, but becomes patchy in the hills around Manali and Nainital. If your group needs South Indian meals or has strict dietary requirements, say so at the quotation stage and we will select hotels accordingly rather than leaving it to chance on the road.

Language

Our drivers speak Hindi and functional English. If your group would be more comfortable in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam, mention it when booking. We cannot promise it for every date, but we will tell you what we can actually arrange rather than agreeing and then failing to deliver.

Long legs are better by train

For Ayodhya, an overnight train from Delhi is usually more comfortable and cheaper than a full day of road travel, and it saves a hotel night. We say this even though it means we bill less for driving, because a guest who arrives rested has a better trip and books with us again.

What Our Guests Say

"Outstanding coordination. We rented a Force Urbania for a corporate tour to Rishikesh. The captain seating was exceptionally comfortable, and the client managers handled everything with great detail. 5-star service all the way."

Seasonal Guide

Best Time to Take a Tour Package from Delhi

October to March

The best window for Agra, Jaipur, Vrindavan, Ayodhya, and Amritsar. Comfortable daytime temperatures and clear light for photography. December and January bring dense morning fog across the plains, which delays both flights into Delhi and early road departures, so leave a buffer day if your schedule is tight.

March to June

The season for Shimla, Manali, and Nainital, when travellers from the south come to escape the heat. Rohtang Pass typically opens around May. Book six to eight weeks ahead for May and June, because these are peak months and both hotel availability and rates move against you if you leave it late.

July to September

Monsoon. Rafting in Rishikesh stops, and hill roads in Himachal and Uttarakhand carry landslide risk. In exchange, it is the cheapest time to travel, Vrindavan during Janmashtami is extraordinary, and Rajasthan looks greener than at any other time of year.

How to Book

  1. 1 Send us your travel dates, group size, and the destinations you have in mind. Phone, WhatsApp, and the enquiry form all reach the same team.
  2. 2 We return a written itinerary and full quotation, usually the same day, with hotel names and every charge listed.
  3. 3 You confirm with an advance payment. The balance is settled as set out in the quotation.
  4. 4 Before departure you receive your driver name, vehicle number, and phone number, plus a coordinator contact for the duration of the trip.
